We are delighted to share the successful completion of our recent CSR activity, which aimed to nourish communities in need. The primary objective of this EBC activity was to address their basic daily food needs and contribute to the well-being of the village community. We provided essential groceries to families, especially those facing economic challenges, to alleviate hunger and improve their overall quality of life.
Six members from the HR team visited Nayaakkam village, near Thiruvallur. There are 27 families who are refugees from the neighbouring state. They have been living here for the past 10 years and had to walk 2 km daily for water. An NGO has set up a water tank now and has arranged transportation for the kids to go to school regularly.
Our team engaged in one-on-one interactions with the families, taking the time to understand their specific needs and challenges. This personalized approach allowed us to tailor the grocery distributions to the unique requirements of each household, ensuring maximum impact.
