About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Charge Entry to oversee charge entry operations, ensure coding accuracy, and maintain compliance with payer and regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of medical billing, coding systems, and team management, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the Charge Entry process with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Review and analyze medical documentation (super bills, operative reports, medical records) for correct charge capture.
- Ensure proper code assignment (CPT, HCPCS, ICD) and verify the accuracy of assigned codes and modifiers.
- Resolve discrepancies or coding issues prior to charge posting.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, insurance payer guidelines, and government regulations (Medicare, Medicaid).
- Maintain high accuracy in charge entry, minimizing errors and discrepancies.
- Meet or exceed productivity and timeliness targets.
- Prepare and maintain reports, metrics, and analysis on charge posting performance.
- Identify trends, discrepancies, and recommend process improvements.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with the US office to align processes and updates.

- Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding, and reimbursement.
- Proficient in medical terminology, CPT, HCPCS, ICD coding.
- Experience with payer guidelines (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers).
