Alex started her retrieval services career with her previous employer, EMSI, in 2015. Initially, she was responsible for the growth and development of the remote retrieval team, which supported many large health plans in the industry. She successfully established secure remote connections with some of the largest provider clinics, outpatient centers, and hospital networks in the country, obtaining tens of thousands of records remotely. Alex’s initiatives with this team reduced both cycle time and provider abrasion.

Alex was quickly promoted to Project Manager, becoming the direct liaison for a variety of health plans, including IVA, CRA, RADV, HEDIS, and Medicaid Documentation Audits. Because of her overwhelming success working with health plan clients, Alex was promoted to Manager of Operations for Health Plan, Legal, Insurance, and Claims Retrieval Services. In this role, she coordinated the integration of two large case management systems, worked with copy services across the country to negotiate lower rates and direct connections, conducted UAT testing and implementation of new processes, and saw many new clients through the onboarding process.

Alex resides in Texas with her husband and two daughters.
